Four Seasons, Four Loves

Zuko sat on the edge of the sacred temple, he could hear the water of the fountain rushing down, flowing through the pool. Closing his eyes he hummed that song in the back of his that his uncle used to sing. He could also remember the lyrics; they were about season…and…love? He could think of someone he would love to sing it to with all his heart.

“Winter, Spring” he sang in a low tone.
“What comes after that…Summer, and…Fall”
“Winter Spring, Summer and Fall” he kept going on and on.

Blue eyes open as Katara’s brown main blew in the wind. She could hear something, a voice, singing that song that her mother used to sing for her…She forced herself upward, walking through the intense cold of the weather. It was beginning to get louder, yes, she could hear it more and more. Walking past the fountain, her eyes met the shape of a certain 17-year old boy.

“Winter Spring, Summer and Fall” he chanted
“Winter Spring, Summer and Fall” she chanted back. His head whipped around to see the blue-eyed waterbender, sweet music coming from her mouth.
“Four seasons” he said as he got up and walked towards her fragile, freezing figure.
“Four Loves” She sang as she too, walked delicately forward.
“Four Seasons, Four Loves” they both sang, in a harmony so sweet. Their faces were an inch away from each other now, as tears ran down both their cheeks, and their lips sealed over each other’s.
